Job Description

We’re hiring a Dispatcher (Logistics Coordinator) to join our growing Expedite Department in Independence, MO. This is a full-time, in-office role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take charge of logistics and  operations. You’ll play a key part in coordinating time-sensitive shipments across the U.S. and Canada, managing communication with drivers and customers, and helping us maintain top-tier service. Responsibilities

• Dispatch and manage expedited freight and NFO freight across the U.S. and Canada
• Source loads from load boards and existing customer relationships
• Communicate clearly with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams
• Monitor delivery timelines and resolve any service issues
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and load documentation
• Assist with quoting, tracking, and updating shipment statuses
• Respond quickly and professionally in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working with Gmail
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and web-based tools
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks
• Reliable and punctual with a team-first attitude
• Experience in logistics (ground and air), dispatch, or transportation is a required

Compensation

• Pay: Hourly $21- $26 plus Commission.
