Experience mentoring and/or training conservation staff. OR BA/BS Degree in Wildlife, biology, environmental, agricultural.Experience required with Windows, Apple, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPointProtracts, Conservation Desktop.Duties:Conduct Farm Bill training in easement field site visits for legal, programmatic policy, habitat evaluation, monitoring, restoration, landowner discussion and other related conservation easement field expertise. In addition, a laptop will be provided to enter data from field sites and monitor reviews. Telework is authorized. Note: Applicants must live in the state of IN in order to be considered for this position.Coordinate and set up local program easement training events/sessions for field staff to include training in easement field site visits for legal, programmatic policy, habitat evaluation, monitoring, restoration, landowner discussion, and other related conservation easement field expertise.50%Travel to Planning Team Leader areas to conduct easement one-on-one/small group trainings, specifically on EQIP, CSP, EQIP/CSP, IRA, RCPP training, and promotions.30%Office/home telework computer data entry, email correspondence, and reporting.20%Other:Travel Requirements: Occasionally to satisfy the duties of the position. Travel to the field using government vehicles required on a routine basis.Overnight travel: 4 days/month.Health and Safety Considerations: Potential for outdoor work; therefore, hazards associated with rough terrain and changing weather conditions.
