About the role
The Head of Human Resources is responsible for leading and managing Swish World Group’s people strategy, HR operations, and employment frameworks across all subsidiaries and jurisdictions. Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and working closely with senior leadership, this role ensures the Group attracts, develops, and retains talent while maintaining compliant, fair, and scalable HR practices in a remote-first organisation.
This role combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
People Strategy & Workforce Planning
Develop and execute the Group-wide people and HR strategy
Support workforce planning, organisational design, and headcount forecasting
Align HR initiatives with business objectives and growth plans
HR Operations & Policies
Oversee day-to-day HR operations across all Group entities
Develop, maintain, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and handbooks
Ensure consistent application of HR standards across jurisdictions
Recruitment, Performance & Development
Oversee recruitment processes, onboarding, and offboarding
Support performance management frameworks and appraisal processes
Promote learning, development, and leadership growth initiatives
Employee Relations & Compliance
Manage employee relations matters, grievances, and disciplinary processes
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across jurisdictions
Support managers with HR advice and best practices
Compensation, Benefits & Culture
Support compensation, benefits, and reward frameworks
Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance remote work culture
Support wellbeing, engagement, and retention initiatives

Requirements
Experience
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role (Head of HR, HR Manager, or equivalent)
Experience managing HR across multiple countries or jurisdictions
Experience operating in remote-first or distributed organisations preferred
Background in technology, telecoms, or services-based organisations is an advantage
Skills
Strong knowledge of HR operations, employment law, and best practices
Excellent people management and advisory skills
Strong organisational and decision-making abilities
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate independently in a global environment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Professional HR qualifications (e.g. SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) preferred but not required
