Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (CWR)

Openings: 2 Positions Available

Location: Neptune, NJ 07754

Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts per week | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM / 7:00 AM–7:30 PM [Both Available] | Every Other Weekend Required | 3 out of 6 Holidays Required | No On-Call | 36 hrs/week

Unit: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum), including postpartum, antepartum, labor, and nursery assignments depending on unit needs.

We are seeking two experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for our Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit. In this role, you will evaluate patients, assist physicians, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the LDRP spectrum. The RN is responsible for planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs and professional practice standards.

• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.

• Identify patient needs and determine care priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.

• Initiate assessments based on patient conditions, physician diagnosis, and functional health framework.

• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.

• Manage comprehensive care of assigned patients.

• Document patient care in alignment with standards of care, acuity, and clinical priorities.

• Advocate for and support evidence-based practice and innovation in care delivery.

• Deliver patient-centered care consistent with the professional nursing practice model.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in a related specialty (L&D preferred).

• Required Years of Experience for This Role: 3 years

• Preferred: 5 years of experience

• Required: ASN

• Preferred: BSN

Required:

• BLS (AHA)

• New Jersey RN License or Multistate Compact License

• NRP

Preferred:

• ACLS

• Advanced AWHONN or EFM
