Morrison Industrial Equipment is looking for a
Service Assistant to join our team at our Brighton branch, located at
1183 S Old US Highway 23, Brighton, MI 48116-1604 . This team member will work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, and will work 40 hours a week.
Compensation starts from $21-26/hour, depending on experience. Daily Responsibilities: - Processing of technician timecards and organizing weekly payroll.
- Opening, processing, and monitoring of work orders to ensure successful and efficient service.
- Proactively contacting customers to provide repair status of units.
- Debriefing with technicians at the conclusion of each day for the purpose of efficient scheduling.
- Repair estimate preparation, presentation, and processing.
- Processing of warranty claims.
- Answering phones and assisting customers with a positive customer focused attitude.
- Assisting with rental inquiries, quotations, set-up and deliveries.
- Intermediate level computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Additional duties, as assigned.
Our Service Assistants Typically Possess: - Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Computer skills, intermediate level, including experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
