The Unity Plugin Engineer builds and maintains the Unity-side implementation of the Inkognido SDK, making it seamless for external studios to integrate with all Inkognido services.

🚀 Your Mission
Build and maintain the Unity plugin that developers use to access Inkognido’s systems.
You will:
Implement Unity-side SDK modules
Build editor tools, inspectors, and configuration windows
Ensure clean integration and runtime performance
Maintain compatibility across Unity LTS versions
Work with external studios on integration best practices
You make Unity → Inkognido integration effortless.
🛠 Responsibilities
Develop Unity plugin modules for AR, AI, multiplayer, missions, and inventory
Create editor extensions for configuration, debugging, and visualization
Implement runtime wrappers, adapters, and event systems
Work with SDK Lead on architecture, APIs, and integration patterns
Build sample scenes, templates, and quickstart packages
Ensure plugin stability across Unity versions and platforms
Optimize runtime systems for performance and low overhead
Provide support for studios integrating Unity-based games
Collaborate with Tools Engineer to enhance developer usability
Document workflows for both internal and external developers
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on quality, clarity, and stability.
🧠 Requirements
Must Have:
Strong Unity development experience
Fluency in C# and Unity engine internals
Experience building plugins or SDK integrations
Knowledge of ScriptableObjects, events, editor scripting, and runtime architecture
Understanding of asset pipelines and serialization
Ability to debug complex integration issues
Strong sense of developer experience and ease-of-use design
Nice to Have:
AR Foundation or AR pipeline experience
Multiplayer networking knowledge
Animation or rigging system familiarity
Experience contributing to Unity packages or open-source tools
Prior experience supporting external developer teams
